ECalcPad - the only calculator you will ever need

Everyone needs calculators. Humans calculate daily - some are concerned with their finance, some want to know how much they have to pay for their home or car, some buy, sell and calculate their profit, debt, expenses or taxes - well, that's life.

As everyone needs calculators, many provide them. Google returns about 37,100,000 results for "calculator" term search. This means, there are about 37,100,000 pages offering their calculating services - free as well as paid.

Making another one - is it really worth it? We believe, it is. Actually, ECalcPad is a calculator designed by software developers for their daily needs. In other words, one day we realized we lacked a good calculator, got terrified by Google search results and decided that it would be easier to make a calculator capable of taming our figures than to find one on the Web.

The initial idea was to make an easy to use tool (as we have wives, who think that computer is an instrument for playing cards and shooting at fascists, and our wives make lots of financial calculations) capable of performing any complex (really complex!) calculations (as it was to be used not by our wives only). Besides, our calculator was to be multipurpose - that's just the way we see it. Also, we couldn't think of a financial calculator which would lack the option of creating user-defined functions and variables, so we introduced this option to our tool. Again, we're extremely punctilious in our lives and like to group and analyze our income and expenses - so, we invented the tree of analytical properties to group our calculations into thematic groups to later study our dates and numbers. Finally, any database software (and ECalcPad is database-oriented) should be able to export data to MS Word and MS Excel - just to be on the safe side. So, we introduced these functions to ECalcPad, and they really proved very useful.

And we worked, and worked, and worked REALLY HARD, and then had some rest, and worked again  - until finally we had this. Truth to tell, we're completely satisfied with the result - as well as with the fact that anyone on the Web is free to evaluate it and decide whether it suits their calculating needs. Feel free to try, and if you like it as much as we do, buy it and keep using it for the rest of your financial life.
